Raise the Basketball Hoop

Just to get things started:
My 2 Cents Worth: Back in the olden days "My 2 cents worth" was a term used for "my opinion", ie. for what it's worth.

So let's pick a topic. How about sports.

It's time to raise the basketball hoop up from 10' to 12'.
Pushing a ball DOWN thru a basket is about as difficult as sinking a 6" putt. Put up to it, my youngest grandaughter could do it. You either have a ladder or you have to be "tall- that's all". I think that Naismith wanted a game of skill, not height. I know some players will not like it. Primarily hot doggers and those that are "tall-that's-all". The good players, on the other hand, will be able to adjust, skill will prevail, and the game will be as Naismith intended it, a game of skill.

The others can have a dunking competition league, like we used to do with the driveway basket set a 7'.

That's my 2 cents worth. What is yours?
